INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
On 8 March, we celebrate Women’s Day worldwide. Many countries have their own traditions for showing appreciation to women.
In Eastern Europe, various seasonal flowers are given, such as the elegant freesia, the charming lisianthus or the dynamic tulip.
In other parts of Europe, such as Italy, it is the light and playful mimosa that is associated with this day.
